**MOJO** - Fruit Day 1

Things have been a little hectic lately with the Red Sox, even in the mojo department. Folks lately (or should I be saying "Foulkes") have been struggling to find answers to the Sox recent troubles, and that goes the same for this guy, who somehow has started taking personal responsibility for every Sox loss. So when things get too complicated, you look for a way to simplify.

Today begins fruit mojo. Simple and refreshing, just what the team needs for a little pick me up to get back on track.

For the first installment, we look to get a great start out of Wakefield, one of the last knuckleballers still walking the Earth. To help guide him, we offer coconut mojo.

For when you are cast away on an island, much like the Sox are threatening to be adrift in a sea of mediocrity, the sweet milk of the coconut can sustain you. May Wakes pitches be hard to hit, like the coconut's hard husk, and drop off the table as freely as coconuts drop from the trees. And if the radar gun should falter for today's game, then we can use today's mojo's namesake to whip up a spare.

There's a Hawaii-based group called the Peter Moon Band that had a great song entitled "Island Love." Lyrics from the chorus go "juice from the mango, milk from the coconut." You can't go wrong with that.
